Everyone’s favorite Squeamish Nun is back! Now extended until Sept 4th! Elizabeth Donderstock makes delicious cheeseballs. Both original and smoky, mind you. Everyone loves the cheeseballs, in fact they are all that the religious community of Clusterhaven has left. But when Liz isn’t appreciated anymore, she decides to try the outside world. There she’ll meet Ukrainians with cockney accents, restaurants run by recovering alcoholics, a certain peanut, and her own self worth. This hilarious comedy could only from the devilish minds of both David (Me Talk Pretty One Day) and Amy (Strangers with Candy) Sedaris! |

Featuring an amazing cast including Bay Area vet Stephen Pawley* (TheatreWorks, Word for Word) and NYC transplant and BATCC award-winner, Marie O’Donnell (Late Night with David Letterman), along with Custom Made regular Tavis Kammet (Candide, Durang Me!) and sketch-comedian Allison Page (Killing My Lobster), The Book of Liz is the perfect summer comedy:hysterically funny, surprisingly touching, and full of the biting wit of David Sedaris, combined with the naughty, but sweet, absurdity of his sister Amy. The Book of Liz is directed by Gabriel A. Ross, who recently staged The Actor’s Nightmare as part of the BATCC nominated Durang Me!
