Introducing the Gough Street Playhouse
Formerly known as the The Next Stage, The Gough Street Playhouse is located at 1620 Gough St. (at Bush) in San Francisco. It is attached to the historic Trinity Episcopal Church and has been a mainstay venue in the city for over 20 years. The Gough Street Playhouse is easy to get to by both car and public transport, from every direction. It is just two blocks off Van Ness, and there is street parking and a nearby lot that is currently under $10 to park for the evening. There are over 21 local restaurants to sample. We know you are going to love our new theatre!

Parking
Last minute parking on-the-street is not recommended, but is possible with some planning.The Bush/Polk Parking Garage on the corner of Bush and Polk Streets is recommended. After 6:30pm it's under $10, and it's only an eight minute walk to The Next Stage. On weekday evenings a neat approach is to park at 7:00pm between Bush and Pine on Franklin Street, just when it stops being a tow-away zone. At that time there are plenty of spaces, and plenty of restaurants to grab some dinner pre-show!
